Basketball Recap: Harper Woods Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-17, which was the final score in the Harper Woods Pioneers's tilt against the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors on Tuesday. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harper Woods' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harper Woods will welcome Avondale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Avondale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, they will host Berkley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southfield Arts & Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Berkley likes a good challenge.
