Basketball Recap: Eastern Has No Trouble Against Oak Hill

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Gallia, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Oak Hill Oaks as the Eastern Eagles made off with a 36-16 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Eagles pulled away in the second half with 24 points.

Eastern is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Oak Hill, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Symmes Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Hill, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Northwest at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
