Basketball Recap: Hanover-Horton Takes a Loss

Hanover-Horton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 66-46 to the Columbia Central Golden Eagles. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 45-40.

Hanover-Horton's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Columbia Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Hanover-Horton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia Central, they will take on Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grass Lake comes in on 18 and Columbia Central on eight.
