Volleyball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Highland Huskies, falling 3-0. The Golddiggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Kambrey Martin paced Clear Creek's offense, picking up six kills. Martin got some help from Kiera Ginter and her six assists. Finally, Katelyn Averitt kept Clear Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Clear Creek has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Estes Park on the 1st. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dawson School on the 30th.
