Byron Nelson strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the 'Iolani Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Byron Nelson easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14.

Kylie Kleckner paced Byron Nelson's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kleckner got some help from Sophee Peterson and her 29 assists. Finally, Peterson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for 'Iolani, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

Byron Nelson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against JSerra Catholic on the 16th. As for 'Iolani, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Punahou at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. The contest will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
