Basketball Recap: Rolling Hills Prep Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, Rolling Hills Prep had to take the L. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakland Tech Bulldogs.

Oakland Tech was led to victory by Ardarius Grayson and Jasen Davis. Grayson posted ten points in addition to eight assists and six boards, while Davis went 5 of 6 on his way to 12 points. Grayson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Xan Meyer-Plettner, who had seven points and eight rebounds.

Rolling Hills Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Oakland Tech, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Rolling Hills Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-42 win against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus on the 4th. As for Oakland Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-62 loss against Rancho Cucamonga on the 4th.
