Baseball Game Preview: Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors vs. Griffith Panthers

For the second straight game, Hammond Bishop Noll will face off against Griffith. The Warriors will take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hammond Bishop Noll has five straight wins, Griffith has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Hammond Bishop Noll will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Griffith, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Warriors came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-1 on Monday.

For Griffith's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Quillin, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Hammond Bishop Noll pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Griffith, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
