Volleyball Recap: TERRA Environmental Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hialeah Gardens on Monday, TERRA Environmental came back down to earth. TERRA Environmental lost 3-0 to the Columbus Explorers on Wednesday. If TERRA Environmental was looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Columbus when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Columbus got the win, TERRA Environmental sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 28-26, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why TERRA Environmental lost, don't look at Luka Reyes. Despite the final result, he had 11 digs and two aces. Reyes has been hot for a while, having also posted 18 or more assists the last 13 times he's played.

TERRA Environmental's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Columbus, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

As of now, neither TERRA Environmental nor Columbus have any future games scheduled.
