Football Game Preview: New Lisbon Rockets vs. Necedah Cardinals + How To Watch

New Lisbon is 7-2 against Necedah since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. New Lisbon's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six contests, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

New Lisbon's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Hillsboro on Friday. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Rockets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Necedah took a blow against Ithaca on Friday, falling 43-14.

Necedah's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Lisbon, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-6.

Everything came up roses for New Lisbon against Necedah in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
