Basketball Recap: Pine Island Takes a Loss

Pine Island lost against Cannon Falls back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pine Island Panthers received a blow as they fell 65-51 to the Cannon Falls Bombers.

Pine Island's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cannon Falls, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Island will venture away from home to take on Chatfield at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cannon Falls and Byron will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cannon Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
