League recap: St. Vincent de Paul racks up one non-league win over past week

St. Vincent de Paul set the pace in the league with one win over non-league opponents this week. The Mustangs defeated San Pasqual Valley 12-11.

St. Vincent de Paul jumped from third to first place in the standings of North Central II over the past week behind a 1-0 record in that time.

Sonoma Academy's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 25 hits and nine walks, both of which led the league.

Luke Martin's .500 batting average (4-for-8) for the Coyotes was the best in the league this week. For the season, he's hitting .417, good for first in the league. Martin has totaled five hits this season.
