Softball Recap: Hutto Comes Up Short

Hutto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Lake Belton Broncos.

Hutto saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaelyn Price, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run was Price's first of the season.

Hutto's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lake Belton, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Hutto will face off against Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Rock will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Hutto surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Belton, they will square off against Godley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
