Basketball Recap: Calvin Christian Comes Up Short

Calvin Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fruitport Trojans. The Squires were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 64-48.

Calvin Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Fruitport, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Calvin Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-20 victory against Comstock Park on the 18th. As for Fruitport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-57 win against Kelloggsville on the 18th.
