Softball Recap: Rothsay Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ashby

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rothsay). They were the clear victors by a 19-11 margin over the Ashby Arrows on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Arrows recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Rothsay back to even at 4-4. As for Ashby, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Rothsay will head out on the road to challenge Brandon/Evansville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.36 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ashby, they will welcome Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
