Baseball Game Preview: Tigard Tigers vs. West Linn Lions

For the second straight game, Tigard will face off against West Linn. The Tigers will face off against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tigard took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over West Linn.

Ryan Frye looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Tigard is 7-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-11-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Conner Reilly, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Conner Bok, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

West Linn's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5. As for Tigard, their win bumped their record up to 11-13-1.
