Volleyball Game Preview: Drew Dragons vs. San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines

The Drew Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Drew didn't have quite enough to beat The Bay School and fell 3-2.

Drew took The Bay School into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 15-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Meanwhile, San Francisco Waldorf got the win against California School for the Deaf on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-11.

San Francisco Waldorf's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went Drew's way against San Francisco Waldorf in their previous matchup back in September, as Drew made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
