Basketball Recap: Capital Find Success

Capital won the last time they faced Shelton and things went their way on Monday too. The Capital Cougars rang in the new year with a 38-29 win over the Shelton Highclimbers. The Cougars didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Capital's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Shelton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Capital will be playing in front of their home fans against Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shelton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
