Softball Game Preview: Mae Jemison Jaguars vs. Buckhorn Bucks

The Mae Jemison Jaguars will take on the Buckhorn Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Mae Jemison came up short against Whitesburg Christian Academy and fell 9-5. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Buckhorn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Columbia get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bucks, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Audrey Rosenberry, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted over her last eight games. Another player making a difference was Bailey Lamar, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base.

Mae Jemison's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Buckhorn, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
