Basketball Recap: Dunseith Comes Up Short

Dunseith lost against Rugby back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dunseith Dragons lost 61-41 to the Rugby Panthers. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dunseith's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Rugby, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Dunseith does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rugby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Des Lacs-Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Rugby's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Des Lacs-Burlington has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
