Basketball Game Preview: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Farmington Phoenix

The Taylorsville Warriors just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Farmington Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Taylorsville is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Olympus on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Taylorsville came up short against Olympus, falling 74-49. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Farmington came up short against Woods Cross on Friday and fell 47-37. The contest marked the Phoenix's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Farmington, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Taylorsville beat Farmington 46-39 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Farmington's Brynn Ryan, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards.
