Central Valley came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Lathrop Spartans as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 on Tuesday.

Nicholas Dominguez looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Fernando Dominguez, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Carter Hernandez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Central Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Lathrop, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
