Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Walker-Hackensack-Akeley's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Walker-Hackensack-Akeley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Fertile-Beltrami, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley has already played their next match (against Cass Lake-Bena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fertile-Beltrami, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against South Ridge on the 13th.
