Mexia is 9-1 against Marlin since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mexia Black Cats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marlin Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Mexia's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Mexia came up short against Robinson and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Marlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to Lorena. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Bulldogs were already down 4-0.

Mexia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Marlin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Mexia beat Marlin 3-1 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Mexia repeat their success, or does Marlin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
