Basketball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines, falling 71-49. If the Javelinas were looking for revenge after losing 62-31 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they will venture away from home to take on Pioneer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pioneer will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
