Jamiah Johnson now has a new season-high in steals thanks to her big game on Friday. She was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten steals. She played a big game the last time she faced East Bladen, so the team probably should've seen her coming. We rated that as her best performance of the season, edging out her previous best set last Tuesday.
Johnson and Pender will head out on the road to face off against Whiteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 16.1 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against Whiteville's dominant defense.
