Aquinas had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mosinee Indians 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Blugolds sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Mosinee, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Looking ahead, Aquinas will challenge Seymour on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blugolds 2.8, the Thunder 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Mosinee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
