Soccer Recap: First Baptist Christian's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

First Baptist Christian lost against Grand River Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sabres took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grand River Academy. One thing that didn't help First Baptist Christian's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Kayden Casbohm.

Samuel Carroll and Gavin Fisher scored both of First Baptist Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, First Baptist Christian fell to 5-1-1. As for Grand River Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, First Baptist Christian will venture away from home to face off against Mentor Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Grand River Academy, they will welcome Andrews Osborne Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
