Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask L'Anse). They took down the North Dickinson Nordics 83-66 on Monday. While the Purple Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory (which was L'Anse's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for North Dickinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

L'Anse will challenge Johnston at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for North Dickinson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-40 loss against Niagara on the 7th.
