Basketball Recap: Milton Beats Colchester for Their Third Straight Win

Milton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Colchester Lakers by a score of 42-32. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Lakers back in January, they had to take a 43-41 loss.

Milton's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Colchester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Coming up, Milton is taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Abraham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Abraham will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Milton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Colchester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vergennes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Colchester is facing Vergennes at the right time seeing as Vergennes is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
