Basketball Recap: Ness City Takes a Loss

Ness City lost against Victoria back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ness City Eagles were dealt a 69-33 loss at the hands of the Victoria Knights. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Ness City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Benjamin Durham, who posted nine points, and Broxton Gall, who earned nine points. Durham is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Ness City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Victoria, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5-1.

Ness City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-35 victory against Stockton on the 25th. As for Victoria, they have also already played their next game, an 84-14 win against Natoma on the 25th.
