Wright and Tongue River are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Wright lost 3-0 to Sundance on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Tongue River faced Big Horn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Rams 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tongue River was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (101-98), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 16-25, 25-22, 15-6.

Tongue River's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Wright, their loss dropped their record down to 12-17.

Wright suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Tongue River in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
