Soccer Recap: Manasquan Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Manasquan has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holmdel Hornets. If Manasquan were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Holmdel when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manasquan's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Holmdel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

Manasquan will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colts Neck at 3:45 p.m. on the 30th. As for Holmdel, they will head out to challenge St. John-Vianney at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
