Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waukee). They walked away with a 73-61 win over the Ankeny Hawks on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Waukee's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Ankeny, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukee will head out to square off against Southeast Polk at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Waukee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Ankeny, they will head out on the road to take on Johnston at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Ankeny knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Johnston likes a good challenge.
