It's playoff time, and Normal University had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Olympia Spartans on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Normal University, bringing their record up to 25-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Olympia, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-20.

As of now, neither Normal University nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
