Providence Athletic Club is a perfect 10-0 against Augusta E since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Providence Athletic Club is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Coastal HomeSchool, who was ranked 22nd in their home state at the time (Providence Athletic Club was ranked fourth). The Panthers came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 34-22 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Josh Williams went supernova, rushing for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries, while also picking up 66 receiving yards and one score. His longest reception was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total. Larry Reinhard was another key rusher, gaining 71 total yards and two touchdowns.

Providence Athletic Club's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Micah Stroud, Andrew McCabe, and Henry Bennett, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Augusta E walked away with a 24-14 victory over David Emanuel Academy.

Augusta E's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Providence Athletic Club, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Providence Athletic Club was able to grind out a solid victory over Augusta E in their previous meeting back in September, winning 22-12. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
