Volleyball Recap: Alleman Pioneers vs. Kewanee Boilermakers        
        
		
             Alleman lost to Kewanee  back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Alleman Pioneers won by a  set and slipped past the Kewanee Boilermakers  2-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Pioneers.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Alleman who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25,  25-23.
  Ashlyn Sullivan had a dynamite game for Alleman,  getting 41  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Sullivan has posted  in her last four  contests. Another player making a difference was  Megan Hulke, who  had 18  digs, five  kills,  and a  block.
 Alleman's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Kewanee, they dropped their record down to 9-12-1 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Alleman is on the road again  on Thursday to play Moline at 6:00  p.m. As for Kewanee, they will face off against Princeton at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
