Ray is on a nine-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Ray Bearcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ray comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.

On Saturday, Ray might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Patagonia an easy 51-25 win.

Ray's defeat came about despite a quality game from Malena Goad, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Goad scored a full 44% of Ray's points, the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 15-7 win over Phoenix Day School for the Deaf. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind has managed all season.

Ray has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Ray against Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 62-4 win.
