Volleyball Recap: Anacortes Seahawks vs. Lakewood Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Harbor, Anacortes was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lakewood Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Seahawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Lakewood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leiana Riveira, who had nine digs and two blocks. Anacortes now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Lakewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-4.
