Soccer Recap: Zane Trace Comes Up Short

Zane Trace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waverly Tigers, falling 10-0. Zane Trace were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Waverly apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Zane Trace's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-2. As for Waverly, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zane Trace will face off against Circleville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waverly, they will take on Fairland in a tournament on Thursday. Waverly will be up against Fairland's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
