With a playoff win on the line, East Wilkes rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They blew past the Cherokee Braves 15-0. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Chloe Andrews and  Zoe Cheek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Andrews   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Cheek   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. At bat,  Andrews  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Cheek  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gracelynn Whitt, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Keylan Cook, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 East Wilkes  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  contests.
