Football Recap: Slater Takes a Loss

Slater managed to slip by Northwest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats were dealt a 72-32 loss at the hands of the Mustangs on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Slater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northwest, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Slater will square off against rival Paris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northwest is set to take on their familiar foe Keytesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
