Deer Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Estrella Foothills on Wednesday. Everything went the Deer Valley Skyhawks' way against the Cactus Cobras as the Deer Valley Skyhawks made off with a 6-1 win. Considering the Skyhawks have won six matchups by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cactus with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tori Wefel-Hayes (3), Sophia First, Hadleigh Pickard, and Cezara Samoil.

Deer Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those seven games. As for Cactus, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Deer Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-2 defeat against ALA - Queen Creek on the 13th. Cactus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
