Softball Recap: Stearns Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Stearns proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greenville Lakers, sneaking past 5-4. The win was just business as usual for the Minutemen, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Stearns' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Greenville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stearns beat the Lakers by a score of 10-0 later that day.
