Final Top 50 California high school football rushing leaders

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, 20 running backs topped the 2,000-yard mark.

The 2019 high school football season in California has come to a close but we are reliving it by looking back at the state's top rushers.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, 20 running backs surpassed the 2,000-yard mark and every player on our Top 50 list ran for at least 1,700 yards.

Leading the way is Davon Booth of El Monte, who churned out nearly 3,000 yards to help his team go 16-0 and win the Division 5-AA state crown. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound senior averaged an incredible 12.2 yards per carry.
