Football Game Preview: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Hedgesville Eagles + How To Watch

The Albert Gallatin Colonials will take on the Hedgesville Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Albert Gallatin has ten straight wins, Hedgesville has 14 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Albert Gallatin was fully in charge, breezing past Clear Spring 62-27. The Colonials might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 24 points or more this season.

A big part of Albert Gallatin's victory came down to the chemistry between Bronx Jamison and his top target Adam Pegg. Jamison rushed for 117 yards while Pegg gained 137 total yards and five touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Jamison a new career-high in passing yards (93). Another player making a difference was Tee Guesman, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only five carries.

Albert Gallatin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Pegg and Ethan Kennedy. Pegg got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Albert Gallatin, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bobby Panos, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Hedgesville fell victim to Jefferson and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Albert Gallatin's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hedgesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
