Baseball Game Preview: Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars vs. Bracken Christian Warriors

The Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars will head out to face off against the Bracken Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bishop Reicher Catholic's offense. They lost 10-0 to Hill Country Christian on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bracken Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sacred Heart.

Bracken Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Dresch, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. Dresch has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last four times he's played.

Bishop Reicher Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bracken Christian, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-11.
