Basketball Recap: Gull Lake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gull Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants 72-32. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while the Maroon Giants are ranked 22nd).

Gull Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Kalamazoo Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Gull Lake will head out on the road to take on Portage Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kalamazoo Central, they have already played their next contest, a 95-80 victory against Muskegon on the 31st.
