Basketball Recap: Luverne's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Worthington last Friday, Luverne came back down to earth. The Luverne Cardinals fell to the Jackson County Central Huskies 84-80. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (78), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

Luverne's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Jackson County Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jackson County Central beat Luverne by a score of 84-80 on Monday.
