Baseball Recap: Ramsey Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Ramsey came out on top against Lakeland Regional on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Lancers 6-4. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sean Sailer was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex DeSimone, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Ramsey's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Lakeland Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramsey will face off against Dumont at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeland Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
