Soccer Recap: SA Roosevelt Takes a Loss

SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Clark Cougars, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, the Rough Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Cougars are ranked 106th).

SA Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Clark, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SA Roosevelt will square off against Brandeis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. SA Roosevelt has given up an average of 5.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Clark, they will challenge Reagan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
